How To Get Rid of Windows Genuine Advantage ( wgatray.exe ) Notification – All Possible Methods for Removal

You are just updated your Windows PC,and after restarting Suddenly a message appearing on your desktop saying that, ” The Windows You are using is not a Genuine Copy “.Genuine Validation will fail due to many reasons like some installed a pirated version like that..
In case if the Validation test fails you will no longer able receive updates,without updates your system is not protected.

Here I am mentioning the All Possible methods for the removal,my only intention is not to support the pirates but who are having Genuine version but still gets problem… So bellow is all possible methods of windows Genuine advantage removal methods.

This is really a Primary,basic and old method to remove wgatray.exe from your syste.,in case if You have just updated Windows and have started seeing the nagging notifications, simply do a System Restore [Start | All programs | accessories | System tools | System Restore] choose a recent and previous restore point. Then, go to the windows update (http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com/ ) site and manually select the updates. This time do not select the WGA update.

This is a crack for the “Windows Genuine Advantage” notification,you can directly run the bellow crack and remove the wgatray.exe from your pc.This is just a direct method here you have the cracks which are latestly updated it can able to remove even newly released wgatray.exe version  1.9.9.x.

Method 3 :

This is a classic and Manual method for the removal of Windows Genuine advantage warning,bu this is not recommended for the no vice users.Please if are bot good with windows just follow method 2.This is only for advanced users.

1. First ensure that the system files are not hidden.Open any folder to get to Windows Explorer. Then “Tools | Folder Options” and click on the “View” tab. Scroll down to the section “Hidden Files and Folders”. Uncheck the Options “Hidden Extentions for known file types”. Then click on “Apply” and “ Ok”.
2. Click on the Windows “Start” button and then on “Run”. In the “Open” dialog box, type “ System32” without the quotes.
3. Scroll through the long list of files and look for the file named “Wga Logon.dll”. After locating it, confirm the name again carefully. Then press the ( F2 ) key and rename it to “Wgalogon.dll.bak”. You must be careful not to rename the wrong file.
4. Next right click on an empty space near the files and select “New/Text Document”. Type the name as”Wgalogon.dll” leave the file empty. A warning message will appear saying “ If you cahnge a file name Extention,the file may become unusable.Are you sure you want to change it ?”. Click Yes on the warning.
5. Next two steps must be done in quick succession. In the System32 folder , find the file “WgaTray.exe”and delete it . Do the next step within 5 seconds !
6. Press [Ctrl]+[Alt]+[Del] to bring up Windows Task manager . Click on the “processes” tab .
7. Click on “Image name” to sort the list alphabetically . Scroll down to process names beginning with “W” and look for the process “Wga Tray.exe”. Click on that process and quickly click on “End Process”.
8. In the Windows Task Manager menu, Click on “Shutdown / Restart” to reload windows.
9. Notification messages will no longer appear.

Here is another Application for the Windows Genuine Removal process but remember this tool is directly removes WAGTRAY.EXE and make your copy of windows Genuine.But all you have to do is first Double click on the application after downloading and run it.
Now a new window will appear with some options now select Scan for product keys,it will automatically scans the product keys and show you ,then just apply that key and  your windows will become Genuine.

Method 5 :

This is a Registry method and also some what easy method for the removal of Genuine advantage warning.

• First reboot your system in Safe mode by pressing F8 button in the start up.
• After log in just open Run Box just press Windows key + R.
• Now type regedit.exe.This will open the Registry Editor.
• Now press Ctrl + F for the search,and search for WGA.
• After that you will see some strings of values right click and remove them.
• And reboot your system in normal mode.
• The genuine notification will be gone.

This is really easy method if still this won’t work try the bellow one…

This is also another manual removal process for the Windows Genuine advantage Notification..

1. Open a CMD Line Window by Clicking on Start >Run > type CMD and Press OK.
2. Change Directory into the System32 Folder (Like Cd c:WindowsSystem32)
3. Open a notepad Window and type the following lines:

• taskkill -IM wgatray.exe
• del wgatray.exe
• del wgalogon.dll

 Now paste the above lines one by one fastly and hit enter this will kill the process wgatray.exe and also delete the files wgatray.exe and Wgalogon.dll.

These are the all possible and simple methods for the removal of  Windows Genuine advantage warning notification.You can use any one of them.If you have any better suggestions please let me know……..
